Wheaton FFA members meet Congressman Billy Long

Members of the Wheaton FFA attended the FFA Washington Leadership Conference, which was held at the Omni Shore Hotel in Washington, D.C., during the week of July 21 thru July 26. Students had the opportunity to meet U.S. Rep. Billy Long, R-Springfield. During the week, the members attended several workshops and seminars on advocacy for agriculture. The FFA members also helped pack 57,600 meals for the Meals of Hope organization. Students are pictured with Long in front of the U.S. Capitol.
